An old multi floor complex was transformed into a modern architectural style hip café. The aim was to produce a young ambiance while keeping the space friendly to every type of person. To achieve this the design team used subtle materials with a splash of contrasting colours, punctures were made through out the ceiling to connect various levels of café through the use of visual angles.
The office building is designed as a edifice of power, dominance and unification. The building massing is developed in accordance to the interior layout as interlocking masses reflect on the programmatic relation of the various departments. The strategic use of glass highlights the spaces which are open to public and consequently the solid walls indicate the sensitivity of the internal program. The front façade is made of red brick and wall claddings with a variety of fenestrations which not only are aesthetically pleasing but also help in the ventilation of the interior space. The entire design is proposed in hues of browns and greys which bring all parts of the structure in harmony.
