The client brief asked for a modern residence which offered privacy without compromising natural light. The front facade of the house uses travertine to create a unified form with necessary voids within the impressive mass in order to create space for courtyards and daylight. The design uses sleek, thoughtful and hidden details to emphasize this aesthetic, further accentuated by the use of simply horizontal and vertical straight architectural elements.
